Nestled in a stunningly rural locale, Charlton Gate is a hidden gem that exceeded all expectations. The journey from Newcastle International Airport, a mere 65 km away, was well worth it as we arrived to breathtaking views and a warm welcome. The cottage felt like home, with a cozy log burner and generous supplies of logs that ensured we were snug and comfortable during our stay. What truly delighted me was the thoughtful welcome pack of treats, tea, and coffee; it made our arrival extra special and set the tone for a relaxing getaway. The terrace offered a fantastic spot to unwind, surrounded by the peaceful garden that was perfect for our dog to play in. Charlton Gate provided an unforgettable experience, and I would happily return to this little slice of paradise!
